『Cities: Skylines II』の推奨構成ではGeForce RTX 3080を要求 - 前作はGTX 580だった
いよいよ10月25日に発売予定の都市建設シミュレーションゲーム『Cities: Skylines II』において、快適なプレイが行える推奨構成について情報が公開されている。2015年に登場した前作から大幅に品質が高められ、掲出されるスペックにも隔世の感がある。
Cities: Skylines IIは、Colossal Order Ltd.が開発してParadox Interactiveがパブリッシングを務める都市建設シミュレーションゲーム。前作はPC向け同カテゴリにおける超ベストセラータイトルで、新作の発売は8年ぶり。AIが導入された複雑な経済機構によって、プレイヤーの判断が都市構造に影響するとしており、市民一人ひとりの人生が形作られていくという。
すでにSteamの製品ページが開設されており、システム要件についてもチェック可能。これによると推奨構成はIntel Core i5-12600K、16GBメモリ、NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 10GBが必要になるとのこと。最低環境はIntel Core i7-6700K、8GBメモリ、GeForce RTX 970に設定され、しばらく前のゲーミングPCでも問題なく満たしているだろう。
ちなみに、前作では推奨構成にIntel Core i7-2700K、16GBメモリ、nVIDIA GeForce GTX 580が要求されていた。Intel搭載Macに加えて、SteamOSもサポートしている。
