アメリカ政府によるClaude Fable 5とClaude Mythos 5の規制が解除されたことが日本時間の2026年7月1日8時52分に発表されました。Anthropicが近日中にサービスを再開することを表明しています。

Anthropicは2026年4月から一部の組織を対象に高性能AIモデル「Claude Mythos Preview」を提供し、現地時間の2026年6月9日に強化版の「Claude Mythos 5」とセキュリティ制限導入版の「Claude Fable 5」をリリースしました。両モデルの性能は同一で、Claude Mythos 5が一部の組織を対象にしたバージョン、Claude Fable 5がセキュリティ制限ありの一般公開バージョンという位置付けでした。しかし、日本時間の2026年6月13日に「アメリカ政府の国家安全保障当局による指示」を理由にサービスが停止されました。

アメリカ政府はAnthropicに対して「アメリカの国内外を問わず、Anthropicの外国人社員を含むすべての外国人に対するClaude Fable 5およびClaude Mythos 5の提供停止」を求めていました。政府はAnthropicに対して停止指示の理由を「Claude Fable 5の脱獄手法(禁止されている内容を出力させる手法)を発見した」と説明したとのことですが、具体的な停止理由は不明。一部のメディアは「中国と関係のあるグループによるアクセスが検知されたため」「Amazonのアンディ・ジャシーCEOが脱獄可能性について政府に報告したため」といった情報を報じています。
そんな中、Anthropicが日本時間の2026年7月1日8時52分にClaude Fable 5とClaude Mythos 5の規制解除を報告しました。Anthropic公式Xの投稿によると、Anthropicはアメリカ商務省から「Claude Fable 5およびMythos 5に対する輸出規制を解除した」といつ通知を受け取ったとのこと。この通知を受けてAnthropicは日本時間の2026年7月2日からアクセス回復を開始し、近日中に追加の情報を公開することを表明しました。
