At the Ladurée Salon de Tête in Ginza Mitsukoshi, I enjoyed the chestnut afternoon tea "Marron," which is only available in autumn. Ladurée was the first salon de thé in Paris to combine a café and a patisserie. The elegant salon, designed in Louis XVI style in the eighteenth century, is exciting from the moment you step into it.

At the top of the stand, there are two types of macaroons parisian. Ladurée is also famous as the birthplace of macarons. The flavors are the standard chocolate and the autumn-only Japanese chestnut. The Japanese chestnut cream in between has a hint of honey.

There are four types of savories on the middle plate. Dishes include chestnut pie with foie gras mousse, egg quiche with marron cream squeezed on top, and chestnut, pumpkin and sweet potato cake.

On the bottom shelf, there is a Mont Blanc and cheese sandwich. The Mont Blanc with marron cream is filled with vanilla creme chantilly, meringue, and fresh cream.

The mini parfait "Marron Poire" can be ordered as an add-on. This is a chestnut and pear parfait. A layer of pear puree, special vanilla ice cream, and rum-infused chestnut ice cream in a glass. It was small and light, so I could eat it easily.

The "Hazelnut Latte," an autumn-only drink, is an Earl Grey milk tea. The pattern of the cat is drawn to resemble the langdosha ,it's a chocolate cookie that means cat's tongue, scattered on the tea. Cute!
