Wireshark 2.5.0登場 - 対応ネットワークプロトコル増加

Wiresharkの開発者は2月6日(米国時間)、「Wireshark · Wireshark-announce: [Wireshark-announce] Wireshark 2.5.0 is now available」において、Wireshark開発版の最新版となる「Wireshark 2.5」の公開を伝えた。

Wiresharkはオープンソースのネットワークプロトコルアナライザー。さまざまなネットワーク通信を分析することが可能で、トラブルシューティング、分析、開発、教育、セキュリティ解析など、各種用途で用いられている。

「Wireshark 2.5」は準実験的バージョンと位置づけられており、Wireshark 2.6で導入することになる新機能や改善が盛り込まれている。今回のバージョンではUI/UXが改善されているほか、次のプロトコルがサポート対象に追加された。
